A new report claims there are over 836 million users in China taking advantage of 4G network capabilities. The report also states that the average user consumes 1.28GB of data per month.
In an effort to save money and clear up spectrum for its 4G network, AT&T plans to flip the switch and turn off its 2G network by the end of the year. AT&T has already moved 6 million subscribers off of its 2G network, but it still has a lot of work to do over the next 8 months.
