The Android distribution numbers for February are in and Oreo has finally cracked the 1% barrier, showing up on 1.1% of phones. Nougat also officially became the most widely used Android version.
The distribution numbers for October have been released and show that Android Oreo is only available on 0.2% of devices. Meanwhile, Nougat is only available on 17% of devices.
Google has revealed a look at the Android distribution for July 2017, where Nougat finally claimed over 10% of the market. That's the first time it's happened more than a year after launch and with Android O on the horizon.
Google has published June's distribution numbers for Android and we see that Nougat is very close to breaking the 10% barrier. Marshmallow is at 31.2%, Lollipop is at 30.8% and KitKat has dropped to 18.1%.
