An app impersonating Avast's Internte Security has appeared on Google Play. The app uses the name and logo of the popular security suite, though it has nothing but ads and maybe questionable elements under the hood.
Avast has bought the London-based company behind the beloved CCleaner, Piriform.
Avast claims that it will not touch CCleaner, instead maintaining that whole suite of products — including the Android stuff.
