Motorola has stuffed the budget market full of great phones, but does the low-end Moto E4 hold its own against the G5?

Republic Wireless is currently offering the unlocked Moto E4 for just $99, down from the retail price of $129.99.

Android Authority has published its hands-on with the Moto E4 and states that the device would make a great temporary phone and is pretty great for what it is.

Verizon is offering the prepaid Moto E4 for just $70, down from its retail price of $199.99.

Engadget went hands-on with the Moto E4 and states that the device is a "pretty solid package for the price".

A new leak has seemingly confirmed that the Moto E4 will launch on July 17th, and will be priced at around $185.

A series of press renders has been leaked which show off the Moto E4, E4 Plus, and Z2 Play.

We've seen some specs about the E4 leaked thanks to its FCC filing, but sources close to Roland Quandt say they know what will be inside the E4 and the E4 Plus. It's also being rumored that pricing for the regular E4 will be starting at €150 and starting at €190 for the E4 Plus.

We've heard some rumors about the Moto E4 already, but now there's a benchmark database entry on Geekbench for the device. If true, we're looking at a smartphone with a MediaTek MT6737 SoC, 2GB of RAM, Android 7.0 Nougat, and a 2,800mAh capacity battery.

Some images of what is said to be the Moto E4 have been leaked, but Evan Blass disagrees. To refute those leaks, he has uploaded what is said to be the E4 and the E4 Plus right next to each other.

The Moto E4 and E4 Plus have passed through the FCC for certification. However, there's no mention of when we'll see these devices released.

Roland Quandt just noticed a Motorola device passing through the FCC which he believes is the Moto E4. If true, we can expect the device to have a 2,800mAh battery, dual-SIM functionality, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, 16GB of internal storage, and Android 7.0 Nougat.
