Some people have had issues with the keyboard on the Pixel C tablet since it would disconnect/sleep too soon, and then take several seconds to wake up again. However, with the new Android O developer preview update, this issue seems to have been resolved.
If you don't want to enroll in the Android Beta Program, then you can now manually download the factory images for the latest Android O developer preview for the Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus Player, and Pixel C.
Google has opened the Android O Beta Program for owners of Pixel and Nexus devices. These are the compatible devices:

If you're looking for high-end premium Android tablets then your choices are pretty slim. Before the Tab S3 was released, the Pixel C was considered the best Android tablet available by many. So now, some are asking if the Galaxy Tab S3 is good enough to replace their Pixel C.
The upgrade to Android 7.1.2 has started rolling out. Pixel C and Nexus Player users are seeing the upgrades, though it doesn't appear to be hitting other devices just yet.
With the recent 7.1.2 beta update, the Pixel C received a new launcher that makes it look like the Pixel Launcher we have on the Pixel and Pixel XL. Someone has extracted that APK file and has it it available for those who want to try it out.
Supported devices are getting an early beta of Android 7.1.2 right now and this includes some new features for many devices. The Pixel C update adds the Pixel Launcher, pixel-style navigation buttons, and a new overview UI.
Google released their first public beta of Android 7.1.2 to supported devices back in January, and now they're ready to test the second beta for it. We're being told by the Nexus Community Manager that it will be rolling out to the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and Nexus Player soon.
Michael Fisher just uploaded a re-review of the Pixel C and it is still his favorite Android tablet to date. However, he still agrees that it isn't for everyone since the device is way more expensive than the competition.
This week we saw Google release the Android 7.1.2 public beta for a number of Pixel and Nexus device. If you aren't willing to wait until the OTA update though, you can download the factory images directly from Google for the Pixel C, Pixel, Pixel XL and Nexus Player.

When using Gmail for Exchange....when I have a reply to my email, it doesn't show the reply message in the notification. It shows my original message and says "+1 New" at the bottom, rather than showing what the person's reply is.
Very frustrating. Anyone else experiencing this?
The Android 7.1.1 developer preview 2 is now available for the Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, and Pixel C. The update doesn't have many notable user-changing faces aside from a new pack of professional emojis which account for more genders, professions, and skin tones.
Earlier this month we learned that Google would be releasing the Android 7.1 dev preview sometime in October. That time has come as those with the Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and Pixel C can enroll via the Android Beta Program right now.

Other than the functional stupidity of removing the little drop-down arrow on the status drop-down, I can't get the Pixel C to connect to WiFi now since the Nougat upgrade. It says it's obtaining an IP and it chews on that for a few mins and then dies. Anyone else having this trouble?
Between now and September 6th, the Google Store is having a sale on the Pixel C and any Chromebooks. Potential buyers can save $75 off the Pixel C and $30 off any Chromebook.
