The Capitvate has finally been overclocked!!! It's running at 1.2Ghz. But wait...the news gets even better. Developers at XDA-Developers says with a bit more work the Captivate can run a stable 1.6Ghz!!!

Do you want to know how? Ok.....Well......Check it out

    Overclock Capitvate

There will be a way to flash it through recovery soon. A bootimg is being made so it can be possible.

    Thanks: AJerman @ XDA-Developers

    1.2 Tempting, 1.6 I'd worry about heating.

How much more voltage did they need to get it stable at 1.6 Ghz?

And how will this affect battery life? What's the point of having 1.6 Ghz if it means ur phone will last 4 hours.
