So if you're in Italy and have ITV csc, try to update via latest NPS.

It's JC1/JB2 so it's not the latest leaked version. The point is that 1.6 is officialy out so we can ask for kernel sources.

which they are legally obligated to do - of course "soon" is a relative term...

Any confirmation that users in Italy are able to successfully install the update through NPS?

I checked via FUS Downloader - it is indeed available, so it's official.

It is weird the are using such a combination. I will try flashing the JC1 phone part to see if that helps with "no sleep".

    Grr. What's wrong with Samung's "versioning"... Ж.

JC1 phone is identical to JB2/JB6.

If it's released in Italy, should we expect this elsewhere anytime soon? Why does Samsung release different firmwares for different places? It's the same phone...

Anyway, does the carrier need to approve the upgrade before it becomes available on NPS? I thought so at first, but it's Samsung's software, maybe it has nothing to do with the carrier...

It might be an official release, but I am wondering if anyone has been able to update through official channels (NPS). I am only asking because, like everyone else, I am awaiting the legally obligated release of the kernel source. Even if a version is deemed official, rather than a leak, if no one can access it through the official updating procedure, does the legal obligation to release it exist?

At last it has Dutch locales now too. And all apps are visible in the market. Could it make any difference this is a XX firmware instead of XE and it's oprator branded? USB sound bug is still there.

HTC was promising 2.1 OTA update fro Russians today, but called it off. I suspect Samsung wanted to rub it in HTC's nose, which is why they've finally released 1.6 ;)

Have they finally fixed the no-sleep issue?

That's all I want to know.
