Root 1 click rooter not working.. I keeps saying file is older, or something.. Help asap!

Trying to root my EVO an I keep getting a "file is older" error, so it won't root I've tried the one for the froyo 2.2 update, an it still said this..

Any help would be well, helpful..

To be quite honest, I can't get anything to work..

Tried this:

But it won't let me even do step 3, it just goes right into the first option..

What is your software version? If it is 3.3 (as opposed to 3.29 or lower), you may not be able to use the 1-click root method. There is a discussion about it in this thread (about midway down).
