Using this super wipe says optional . Any reason I should or shoulnt do it.
it is optional, what it does is that it wipes system, data, boot, and cache three times and then it wipes the temp. files three times. couple that with wiping data, dalvik cache and cache will give your rom a super clean environment to install your rom.
Using it just simplifies the wiping part. It wipes all of the partitions that are used by thr rom 3x to make sure you get a clean install.
So this is a good idea in my thoughts because Ive noticed that most problems seem to be linked from stray data left in these folders and most answers to problems are to wipe these folders.
Also after i flash the new rom to reinstall Titanium backup is it best to redownload the root version and then restore the key?
yep exactly. i wipe data, dalvik cache and cache 3x then do the superwipe then flash my rom. i know that is overkill but it works. never had any issues.
i just download both at the same time in the market. but i suppose you can do that.
It wont charge me again?
nope the market will say purchased which means just that. also you can go into the my apps in the market menu and grab it from there.
Thank you thank you Will be flashing in a few just gota deside on mikg2.5 or the 3d. Again thanks to both of you for the fast replies.
MikG 3D is like MikG 2.5 but with the 3D Carousel and Sense 3.0. MikG 2.5 is sense 2.1 with 3.0 elements. You can't go wrong either way you go though.
Thanks everyone Im now going to become a flash junkie
