YIPES.....you may lose root with that update...
Beleive Nfinite has a 2.1 Sense Rom WITH the update.....

(going to get you to flash a rom....if its thee last thing i do....)

I heard that it was not supposed to lose root with that, but anyway, I tried updating my phone with and without it being rooted and the installation gets aborted on its own. Now I can't even install anything from the market and I'm tired of doing hard resets to my phone. I don't know what's wrong with my phone. Uggh! I'm hating my Hero so much right now! I feel like throwing it against the wall, but then it would be a lot worse not having a phone at all lol
