Support 11/19/10: Sprint HTC Hero Update Problems Reported.

    Apparently, some Sprint HTC Hero owners that have downloaded the latest maintenance update from 11/19/10, are experiencing issues with heavy lag and battery drain: Sprint Hero OTA rolling out, may have issues | Android Central .

    You might want to think twice before pulling the trigger on the update. Although, most people that I have talked with have not had an issue with it so far.

    Yeah my battery has gone to shut since the update.

    I did the update and have not noticed much other than lag but its the same lag thats been going on since I updated to 2.1. I really need to look into rooting this phone

    I am kind of surprised this thread was moved here. However, I suppose it does fall under troubleshooting. ;)

    I just would have thought it would serve as a better warning in the main subforum. Oh well. :D

    With one click root and NFX-Sprint.STOCK.2.32.651.2 rom overclocked to 691 why wouldn't you.. Its like a new phone all stock with working bluetooth and almost 0 lag
