Was about to update my rom today to hashcode's latest with the deep sleep fix, however for some bizaar reason (though nothing has changed since I rooted it) the kindle will not connect to my computer, thus allowing me to access it to copy the files across.

    edit:
Fixed it in recovery, though I am a little concerned that i can't mount it in normal operation to transfer books/music e.t.c..

Its because in build prop it listed as galaxy nexus. Thats done so we can have access to more apps. Just use recovery and mount usb like you did

Never occurred to me that was the reason it never showed up lol. Just thought it was a bug or something. Thats what ive always done though was mount in recovery.
