2.1 and gmail sync

i got the new update and now my gmail will not sync. how do i get this to work again? should i delete the account then add it back?

A lot of us were having the same issue on day one of the update and we found that if you just a wait a bit, the server has to update for your GMAIL to communicate with your phone. For some reason, the servers weren't ready for ALL of the influx of updaters. For now, try restarting your phone and just give it a bit of time.

thanks for the info. i did call VZ and they told me to do the following which worked perfectly.

settings --
applications --
manage applications--


set it to filter ALL

then go to gmail storage and clear

then it works!!
