    Hi everyone,

So the 2.1 keyboard speech to text feature has proven itself nearly flawless for me and as such, I'd really like to use it to write much longer things like entire emails, but I'd like to know if there's a way to add punctuation and start a new sentence, etc... Any ideas?

    Thanks!

I use Speech recognition on Windows 7 - so that was the first thing that occurred to me, as that is how we do it there.

On my DroidX speech to text I got . , ? ! by saying period, comma, question mark, exclamation point. Getting a ; was trickier. Saying "semi" as "sem-eye" before "colon" got me semi: To get an actual ; I had to say it sort of "English" as in "semee colon" I was NOT able to get the words "dash" "hyphen" "slash" forward slash" "backslash" "ampersand" "quotation/quote/quotes/open quotation/ quote unquote" at all.

And, I've never found an answer to other posts about how to get the first letter of the sentence capitalized.

I didn't think of that either, as I have never used speech to text until the Droid. Very helpful, thank you!
