2.1 Problem?? Someone guide me...

I did the force update to 2.1 last night and decided to do a full factory reset back to out of box state with no apps, contacts nothing on the phone. loaded 2.1 on. and proceeded togo through what i needed on the phone and didnt need. now i only have loaded about 10 of the 60 apps i had on it before and im getting a warning notification of a little head with an ! next to it, which is a phone storage space is getting low. anyone have any idea on this.. like i said i only loaded 10 of the 60 i had before and now im getting this and have no clue why..
