2.1 Upgrade problems

So, after a few tries, I finally got the RUU file to download. When I run it, the following message appears in a pop-up box:

Anyone having the same problem? What's up?

Not sure, but make sure your PC is updated... just by looking at it, it looks like Windows and IE might be acting out. In any case try re-downloading the file from the "mirror post"

its because the file you download didnt finish the download. i received the same error. go to the properties of that file and if its complete it will be 118mb. if its less than that then your download didnt complete.

Same problem here. I keep hitting a stopping point at about 9 megs. I'm trying Filezilla now as an alternative to see if I can get the whole file.

Incomplete download is the problem. Try one of the mirrors or download from sprint website. They are serving it up from sprints servers now and I got pretty good speeds from them. Finished in about 10 minutes. I never did get a complete download from HTC's site.
