What can I expect browsing speed wise if I update to 2.2 running froyo? This is really the only thing that bugs me about 2.1.

    Thanks!

I'm assuming you're talking about internet on the phone.

That said, that mostly depends on your connection lol. The better the connection the "faster" the internet is. Although OC'ing your processor comes in handy for pages load faster too. Stock 2.2 is at around 600-800mhz, I think 800...so it's already going to be faster if you're just stock 2.1.

Hope that helped...I'd suggest just go for the leap, if you don't like it, go back lol.

Thanks. I was refering to internet. So 800 to 1000 would be a noticeable improvement? How would it drain on the battery?

Froyo has the fastest browser on a mobile device, I think even with Flash.

I've played around comparing mine to my ipod touch running iOS4 and i'd say about 8 out of 10 times, the droid wins....and if it doesn't win, it's within one second of doing so. I'm running Bugless Beast v0.4 and Chevy's 1ghz low voltage kernal

The best thing about a rooted Droid running Froyo is ..... it comes with sprinkles :)
