Help 2.2 and live wallpapers

Any of you guys out there that have 2.2 on their intercept able to get live wallpapers. Ive seen other phones that have lower specs then the intercept just wondering why not the intercept?

Are you saying that the intercept can't get live wallpapers with 2.2? Maybe it's because it is running the sprint version of froyo. The update for virgin mobile phones will be slightly different than sprint phones, maybe the sprint froyo update has some incompatible things when run on the vm intercept. I know people who are running the sprint update on their vm phones and they can't receive mms.

I guess we will have to wait until this spring to find out.

My friend has the sprint version and he got the update in dec. He told me it didnt support it but when he rooted he could use live wallpapers with out a problem.

I have no idea what the purpose of a live wallpaper is. It drains more battery and at least on my phone, the wallpapers are covered up with widgets and other stuff anyways

True about the battery but it makes the phone more fun to look at when your at your home screen.
