if youre on the esteem probably not. you can spoof versions with build.prop edits though. latest known kernel i know of is probably speed unleashed 1.3

another hurdle is that were on version 2.3.4. your link shows a purported 2.3.6 being updated to 4.0.4
Its not an issue. Someone is working on building cm10 which is essentially the same thing as in that video.
No and no. I am working on CM10 for the esteem but it still has alot of work it needs b4 its even usable. CM7, couldnt get RIL working, so it had no calls/text/data. CM9 was just a beetch and was abandoned. No current solution for what you want other than run a ROM themed to look like ics or jellybean.
