Anyone else notice when you Swype in the incorrect word and double-tap it, instead of the Swype auto correction box you get a 'Cut' 'Copy' option box prompt instead now?

This breaks the flow and you will need to close that prompt then double tap it again to get the word suggestion from Swype, is there an option to turn off the 'Cut' and 'Copy' menu prompt when double tapping?

    Thanks.

    I noticed this too..

The way I do it now is just click the bottom left button in the corner (the one with the finger making a swyping motion) and that brings up the suggestion box, but the 'cursor' has to be 'touching' the word you would like to change.

    Not as smooth..

You can also long press on the word, then "select word", then hit the Swype button.

Thanks for the workaround but it just seems Swype is not as fluid as it once was on the latest update. Sigh...

Once I adjusted my swyping style and started leaving the cursor after the incorrect word I'm back up to speed. Thanks for the advice.

Single tap gets you in the middle of the word. Then just tap the swype key for options.

Double tap is for cut/paste, as you found out.

Negative. The cursor can be anywhere in the word you want to change
