    Hi Everyone,

My wife and I bought a tablet. We have a separate emails and contacts. How can we maintain separate contacts list and still use them for our emails?

    Thank you

I would love to hear about this as well. I think this is one area where a Windows tablet might be able to steal some business from Android and Apple. It does not seem like it would be that difficult.

There is a rumor that that is being worked on for Ice Cream.

works just fine. go to the accounts setting and add them, as many as you want. just be conscious when installing apps so you can decide which account it should installed under. nothing to it. i'm doing it now.

edit: oops, misread your post about separate contacts. sorry, can't easily do that. you can manipulate by creating groups, maybe?

My thought is to be able to have separate login accounts. We do not let the kids touch the SGT because we don't want them messing something up. It would be nice to have them use it with limited authority.

If that's your concern there are apps in market to help lock down certain apps. Another simple method is to put app shortcuts on one of the home screen just for the kids.

The new Market itself is supposed to have a built in pin lock code if you want to use it -- to prevent kids from buying stuff.

Multi logins will be coming but I'm guessing It may not make it for ICS

Well, we would also like it to have separate accounts so that different Gmail accounts can be used (as the primary account for that user). Also, we are not talking about young kids here. It is three girls (18, 13, and 10) who would constantly like to customize stuff like the background, the notification sounds, etc, etc. No way we are going to let them do that on my wife's launcher.

Yeah I would expect that in the version after Ice Cream Sandwich, but ya never know, might get lucky.
