A catchy and light hearted title, the real concern I have are the two removable doors on the back of the HTC Inspire.

I have read some reports talking about the difficulty in removing & replacing these doors. This brings up bad memories of creaky ill fitting doors I've had on otherwise great phones. I realize I'm early with my question till we can go in and see one in person, but thought I'd ask anyway.

What are your thought about the two doors on the back of the Inspire?

    Thanks.. :)

I have to say I don't believe you.

I don't get what the big deal is with two doors.. Can't you remove the SD without taking out the battery now?

  4. Is your door loose?

Its a common problem, I'm not the only one with a folded piece of paper in between the battery and door.

  6. That sucks. Its not common for HTC every maker has some issues sometime

Its a non-issue. Battery doesn't need removing pretty much ever. Sd is prolly gonna sit unremoved. two doors doesn't mean anything in a case

    Non-issue

Sure they do. I'm not looking for perfection, just curious. Also I don't mind having two doors, it's just that in a couple of you tube videos they either didn't remove the battery door cause it was "too hard to do" or they struggled. So I thought I'd ask.

I also take into consideration it's just that one persons opinion. It's certainly not a deal breaker for me. It's just not quite as clean of a design as a single back door.

  10. yea i rather have it hard and tight instead of loose and rattle

You all are soooo giddy it's kinda strange! You all are bonding over this phone, which makes me laugh too.

Anywayyyy......there actually is a reason to opening or removing the battery cover, which is to swap the puny battery for another puny battery (don't think you can get an extended battery).

At least you'll get more battery life than if you just used the one native petite battery. The only concern with this would be that the battery slot and/or cover will start to loosen or break after repeated openings/closings.

    Something to think about....

Early reviews are saying the battery life is good and no major complaints have been made, so I don't know that it's as big of a concern as we all think.

I'm more concerned about the bottom door and the couple of reports I've read that state it has a bit of a gap. Its may sound unreasonable to expect perfection but I don't think a flush fitting door on a phone is asking too much.

I cannot imagine a circumstance in which HTC (or anyone, really) would manufacture a phone with an obvious defect like that. It seems more like that when they removed the door, they damaged it in some way, causing the gap.

  25. Link? every review we have seen has not stated that
