I have an issue. In short my friend got a new android phone but needed it rooted and unlocked so i rooted it then unlocked it with a paid for app off the market using my market account. Now his phone is stuck using my account.

Is there any way to disconnect his phone from my account or is the only way via a factory reset? The issue is that i dont need this person having access to my credit card info or selling it to someone who also would have access to this type of information.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, factory reset is the only way to get your account off the phone, sorry.

Change the password on your google account, if he wants to use his phone he will be forced to reset it and use his own account.
