    1. When I plug my phone into my computer it used to ask me what i wanted to do, now it just USB connects... How to I go back to having it ask me again?

    2. I had an awesome widget that I deleted by accident, but now I can't find it anywhere? Is there a way I can check recently deleted apps and such?

    1. Settings, Connect to PC, check "Ask me ..."

    2. Long press on a home screen, Widgets ... you should see your widget :)

If you remember the name of the widget you could check 4shared.com if you can't find it in the market it might be there.

Thanks for moving the thread oceanbreeze.

I'm running CM7, and yes I made the nandroid before deleting.

What program is best for searching the files in the backup, cause on my cpu they are all unopenable files. In fact I keep going back and forth between ES File Viewer and Astro File Manager, but I heard there was something better for rooted phones.

    Happy new year you guys!

Oh and the first question was, whenever I used to connect to my cpu it would ask me what opertaion to perform, now it just USB connects.... how do I get back to it asking me again. The option isn't available in this rom's settings.

not sure on the settings, but i think the easiest way is to wipe dalvik cache and cache and re-flash cm7. do not wipe data. this is kind of like starting over but your setup and data will not change.
