Hello, I have a brand new Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge + and it's freshly updated from T-Mobile. However, an issue that has already been figured as a bug today with the messaging apps pushing new conversations into others has presented itself in my phone. I can deal with this issue for now, but it seems there may be additional issues with the messaging apps. Both Google Messenger and Samsung's Messaging apps have crashed every time they receive a text of a 2-Step verification code. I fear this is because of the shortened numbers they are sent from. Both Facebook and Tumblr's verifications have crashed both apps. As it is a new phone that I transferred data from the old one, I need to log into all my apps.

Hmm. I have an S7 Edge, and is using chompSMS, and has had no problems with 2 step verification. You may want to try that app.
