I'm not sure! I'm a bit annoyed they promoted $20 off accesories and won't have much EVO accessory selection at all. :/ I still don't think we've confirmed exactly what they will have...

I might get a screen protector, if not I will just buy something for 40 bucks and return it when they get some accessories.

I was going to get a bodyglove case, but it's only confirmed to be available at Sprint.

I honestly don't know what to get. I do NOT want a zagg screen protector as they have a horrible (IMO) texture.

Any know of an screen shields that feel like a switcheasy screen shield? I have one on my iPhone and it's better than the glass screen itself.

  5. I'm gonna let my wife use it to get accessories for her pixi.

For a hooker. In NY they take RS gift cards as long as you have picture ID.

lol. I figure I would use mine for a holster of some sort.

What good would that do? The $20 credit won't apply to whatever you exchange it for, will it? Say if you bought a $40 accessory and paid $20 after the credit. Your exchange value is only $20.

So these are the items from RS going to be there on Friday?

    HTC Black Skin
    HTC Screen Protectors
HTC EVO 4G Hard Shell Case
    HTC Holster
HTC HDMI Cable (a to b)
    Zagg EVO 4G Screen Shield

I'm assuming the "Black Skin" is a silicon case? and the Hard Shell Case is similar to the Bodyglove?

Where did you get that info from? Or are you asking?

The orange peel on the Zagg goes away over time. I'm holding my Touch Pro 2 with a full body Zagg right now and it is smooth as glass. The orange peel is there when you first buy it, but it does eventually smooth out.

Elaborate please... If that is not correct, then what is the correct connector? I'm trying to be ready and ordering the wrong cable would be a setback.

I'll probably buy a charger of some sort. I doubt they'll have a case I'll like. I'm pretty picky when it comes to cases.

I will buy a bunch of accessories there. I will use the $20.00 to help me pay for it.

I will probably buy a case, screen protector, and hdmi cable.

Awesome, thanks. So do I just look for a type D, or should it say type D to type A, or type D to type B, or something like that?

  23. Bales

    Bales Well-Known Member

    Type D - Micro
    Type B - Mini
    Type A - Normal

Type D is pretty rare right now. But yeah, type d to type a is what you'd be looking for. I'm not sure how easy it is to find type b to type d connectors though.

I believe there's a thread or 2 in here discussing this very topic.

Don't forget, anybody with a pre-order gets 15% off accessories that day and anyone who didn't have a pre-order gets 10% off accessories.
