Came home to the update icon in the notifications bar around 9:30p. Took less than 10 minutes to install. Sweet!

You missed the red sea parting, I'm afraid (maybe it happened while you waited for the update)

the 3.1 OTA update was waiting for me when I got home today....~10 minutes, and just before the end, it seemed to be frozen on the ASUS boot logo (wasn't responding to any buttons or power), but it eventually cleared on its own after 3 minutes or so.

Here in the uk just updated to 3.1! The update was flawless and I'm certainly seeing improvements in the browser, haven't explored much else yet though!

Got the update and i was wondering if anyone else noticed that there is aset of up and down arrows on the wifi icon. And that typing seems to go alot slower and less responsive than be fore

Got mine last night on the East Coast, USA. The up and down arrows on the WiFi icon are to let you know when data is being sent and received. Update seems to make the tablet a lot smoother, browsing a bit faster, and I can actually play videos in the YouTube application without lag. Only problem is that I seem to be missing my GMail widget.

As the poster Scott Tompkins pointed out on the blog post, it looks like the infamous "Check for Updates" option in the settings menu really works! As most of us are probably all to aware of, I didn't even think of trying that option out as I figured it wouldn't work. Oddly enough though, it did! It actually found the update.

I woke up with the OTA notification. Takes a few minutes to install and now I'm using 3.1. It certainly feel faster in loading web pages and not much of a lag when typing with the on screen keybpsrd. good job aSUS

Mine last night. Loving the resizable widgets (the ones that do that anyway). The zinio app crashes every time I try to use it and says that version isnt supported. I think once a good 3.1 rom is out I will finally root and just delete all of that garbage.

I thought I was going crazy with the Gmail widget! I tried looking everywhere for it. I really hope the restore it soon, I'm not a big fan of the default e-mail client.

The odd thing is, I still get notifications from the Gmail app, and can launch it, just no widget.

believe 0209 was the pre 3.1 dock version. Can someone post all their current versions post update? Want to see if it matches up with those of us that updated via the leaked version.
