Nice article, SetCPU is a battery saver for sure

I have trouble withautostarts as it keeps hanging but apart from that all v good apps

Autostarts, went through it cautiously but somehow (maybe coincidence) gmail stopped updating. also, What's after startup? I have things there I don't want to start up unless I open them

autostarts may take a minute or two to load up.

After startup is what it is, apps that'll load up once the phone has booted

That's what I thought but there was a lot of superfluous apps there. Pruned now. Thanks lekky

    What no ROMManager or Titanium?

they can be in part II lol. both are more to with additional modding, or moving between roms. my list was more how to get the best out of a rooted rom

but yeah i agree, both rom manager and titanium are absolutely priceless.

ROM manager, yes. Titanium never works as well as I would hope to be honest. I often get issues parsing packages when restoring apps + data, and don't get all my data back either. :(
