Does this count the 5 times a day that I clear data and have to reactivate my phone b/c I'm obsessed with flashing Roms?

Edit: sorry, forgot that I always just default to the "all things root" section in this forum, could someone please move to general discussion?

I would imagine they mean new activations.
I wonder how many are rooted daily...

I also read that, but I can't help but think it's comparing apples and oranges. In my opinion, android phones seem to be more tablet than phone, so it's a bit unfair to compare their data usage to an iPhone or a Blackberry.
