SD, not micro? You're looking for the "big" ones that you cannot use with your phone?

Uh huh... and there are some generous individuals in Nigeria that have a very lucrative deal that's going to make you tons of money.

I don't know how many times it needs to be repeated before people get it. The $15 ebay cards are not 32 GB.. not even close. They are 2 and 4 (if the scammers are feeling extremely generous) GB cards with 32 GB silkscreened onto the card. About the only things that can be guaranteed for your card is that it will fill up quicker than it should and that you'll most likely lose at least part of yout data to corruption.

Check the card using H2testw 1.4 and you'll see it's true capacity.

@Steel36 and everyone else: This is terrible advice.

@jasonh128: How much data have you put on the card? I ask because ebay is flooded with "fake" (micro)SD/HC cards.

Here's what will happen: The card says 32GB (or whatever high-capacity they're selling) on the card.

When you put the card into your computer and look at the capacity, it also shows 32GB. You think you got the steal of the century.

.... But when you actually start moving files to the card you find out that it is actually a much smaller capacity - maybe 2GB.

Paying $15 for something that any reputable dealer charges over $100* for should set off your, "Too good to be true" sensors.

*With the notable exception of Verizon who put the cards up for $40.... for a few hours. That was a price mistake and they're back up to $150 at Verizon now ($99 if you order online).

That is what happened to me with a 16gb. Capacity on the computer stated 16 gb however it wouldn't hold more than 2gb.

    I should have known better.

Never again will I buy a sd card from ebay.
