My 64gb gray and dock are out for delivery today. Will post an unboxing first impression later today. Then a review after I've had it a couple of days.

I'm on the fence about the 32GB or the 64GB model. I don't do much in the way of gaming so I'm wondering if there is any "real" reason to spend an extra $100 for the 64GB model.

Can you (or anybody else) give me a definite reason why I should covet the 64GB model (other than that I "want" it)?

I tend to agree with you. While the internal NAND memory has faster read/write speeds, it doesn't outweigh the low cost of SD card storage, IMO. So I would go for the 32gb, and if you do need more space, you can just invest in a Class 6 or greater SD card. The tablet officially supports max 32gb microSD cards, but many people have demonstrated that higher capacity (up to 128gb) cards work with the Infinity.

yeah i do not see the need for a 64g tablet because the infinity offers many ways to add more storage if needed. i went with the 32g tablet myself. previously i had the 32g prime and i really did not make a dent into t. i do not see the need. just my $.02

From my own personal tests using SD card benchmark apps and other type benchmarks, I've found that class 10 cards are very close to internal NAND storages to the point of being imperceptible in difference outside of raw number crunching. It may make a difference on a very large file transfer, but not much of a difference.

Of course, this is my own experience and YMMV, plus that was done with the Galaxy S3 and not the Asus Infinity. But I got the 32 GB version knowing I would be fine with it.

I ordered the 32gb. I also have a 32gb sd card that I ordered with the $100 I saved in the difference in price. The 32gb card only cost me $20. :D

I think I will have plenty of space with the 32gb and the 32gb SD card and save a little cash to accessorize....
