My brother in law have Nexus one and he is a contract with AT&T. The N1 does not support 3G on AT&T. So he is running on EDGE. So when his contract will ends in June, he is getting an Android Phone for sure. By then they will have much better phones.

I heard (read) that the Android Market counts some ring tones as "apps" while the App Store doesn't. Is there any truth to this?

its a shame most of these apps are just themes/rip off price clocks "hand made in germany" and stupid app after app of asian women.

devs should only be able to post 3 apps a month to cut out spam, or limitless for top rated devs.

Nexus One is a super phone. A family friend bought it few days after it was released and he is still amazed with it every day. Personally I consider Nexus one as the best so far.
