Has anyone find any 3d movie and 3d video streaming sites other than the YouTube app.
I was gonna ask almost the same question lol
Most of my life I've always been about entertainment. And with the revitalization of the 3D format, I'm all for anything 3D, hence the 3DVO. But like yourself, I've been wondering if there's anywhere I can purchase 3D movies directly to my phone. Blockbuster and Netflix don't offer much. So the only thing I can think of is buying the actual blu-rays that have digital copies, then transfer them to the 3DVO.
ill be honest i saw a few 3d movies that i downloaded but the card cant handle anything over 2gb
Not movies but a couple of cool videos on youtube.
youtube player in 3d
1st person mario (3d)
Thats pretty cool...
i traded my evo plus $100 for my evo 3d. the girl kept the sd card , which im guessing had the green hornet 3d movie on it. How can i get a copy of the movie so ican see it in 3d on my phone? where can i get any other 3d movie for this phone? what format are they?
Why in the world would you let then keep the SD card?
I'm assuming that was Radio Shack? Did mine at Sprint they are offering $150 buy back on EVO. They taped mine inside the box when they swapped it out.
i kept my 32 gig card from my evo and she kept the 8 gig card from her evo 3d. I didnt want or need the 8 gig card.
No it was from a girl on craigslist that was selling it . I told her Id buy it after i sell my evo but she said she would trade me instead.
Look at the green hornet movie thread linked in the forum guide for information on getting a copy of the movie.

If you're saying that they swapped the old and new 8 GB cards, you got ripped off. The new card is class 4 not class 2 and there was no requirement for that on the $150 deal (that you can get as sell-back on the Sprint website) . I'd complain to the highest level until resolved.
I kept both cards! And would love to get 3d movies also...
I searched green hornet and I dont see what thread you are refering to. link please?
Sincerest apologies - search failure when I posted that. I found the error and corrected on edit the thread with the download, above, within the hour, and regret I'd not gotten it right in the first place. (Link with our site user is above in that post.)
Here's the link again with the specific post. Note they're kinda tricky about where they (Sprint/HTC) placed the GH movie file, so follow the XDA info carefully.
Stock Evo 3d SD Card Contents *.zip *Now LIVE* - xda-developers
Because XDA recommends a reformat and because our users here did that, best to back up your SD card to your PC, follow the above, then move back anything you care about.
For those that don't have a nextflix account or a collection of 3D movies on blu-ray to convert with Handbrake, is there some other place to buy the files at for download?
Try Amazon, they sold digital copies at one point, but I haven't checked lately.
Ive converted a few 3D movies for the EVO 3D, theyre amazing
share the wealth , upload them !
planning on it, just have to figure out where first
I copied the files to the root of my sd. I didnt format my sd cuz i have too much info on it. Anyways during the copy it said .data already exists on my sd card and asked me if i wanted to merge them. I clicked skip cuz i didnt want to cause problems. Green hornet doesnt play . What do I do to get the movie to play on my 3d?
I went ahead and merged the files. The movie plays! doesnt look 3d though.
I would try a Reboot of the phone. It helps some people when the movie is only playing in 2D. http://androidforums.com/htc-evo-3d/360308-green-hornet-movie-question-2.html#post2876915(Read through this thread for more tips on getting it back to 3D)
If that does not fix it then try a battery pull. Power down and take the battery out for 'exactly 61 seconds' (ha ha stole that joke from someone around here). http://androidforums.com/htc-evo-3d/363802-green-hornet-not-playing-3d.html
One last thing to try, after you reboot, connect to the internet and check for a software update. Go to Settings -> System Updates -> HTC Software Update. If it says you are up to date then go open HTC Watch, and see if a prompt for an update pops up for it. If there is no update pop up then proceed to try and watch the movie again and see if it is in 3D yet.
i guess it is playing in 3d. Its just not that 3d? lol I just saw transformers 3d at the theater today and I think my eyes got use to that 3d ,which seemed more vivid.
