3G arrows on all the time killing battery life

I have noticed over the last couple of days that my up and down arrows under the 3G symbol seem to be on constantly. The arrows used to just flash on and off when I opened an app that was pulling data or when syncing. This is killing my battery life and I have reinstalled apps and reset the phone and nothing seems to work.

Anyone else have this problem?

Well one of your apps is constantly using data.

Go to the market and download Spare parts. Go to the app and hit battery history at the top. Then you will see 2 drop-down menus at the top. Touch the top one and go to network usage. See which one is the highest.
