3G speed for Epic is almost worthless. Does anybody have a suggestion to make it faster?

Sprint's 3G in Wisconsin is a bad as Cricket's 1X. I have no idea how Cricket's 3G was better but it was. Sprint's 3G cannot even load a youtube video properly. I use Wifi whenever it is available.

Where are you at in wi? We had issues in superior until i complained enough for them to check into things and imagine this, they found issues, lol. Been better since but still could be better imo.

Waukesha. The Sprint store manager couldn't even get a video to play without stops on his rooted Evo. They said the speeds are normal for 3G and that 4G will change all that.

They will say that 100% of the time. I would call up the call center and ask for advanced support, dont mess around with first level reps, and talk to them. If you are lucky enough they will do their job and take a look at your area towers and look for fluctuations. After months dealing with them when i had my bb tour (no wifi on that phone) i finally had that happen. They found drop offs and other issues that should have triggered them to send out a field tech but didnt. So after the tech came out he found issues with 2 of the 3 that service my area and even came to my house to double check my issues. So it does pay to ask.
