Help 3G on Nexus One

The 3G on my Nexus One isn't working, I have it for tmobile and gave them a call and they said it should be working...HELP anyone????

Are you sure you have the correct Nexus One? There are two (in the US), one for T-Mobile, one for AT&T 3G bands.

If you have the T-Mobile one be sure that you have the correct Mobile Network settings enabled.

Are you getting Edge data? Or no data?

all im getting is Edge.. how would i know if i have the one for T-Mobile?

noo its not checked off...mobile network settings, mobile networks and selected T-Mobile but it says unavailable!

all im getting is Edge.. how would i know if i have the one for T-Mobile?

I don't actually know how you would figure it out.

ummm, perhaps there is something in the Baseband or Kernel version that is different between the two. Someone here must know how to easily tell the difference.

Pull the battery, There is a number just under the light gray part:

PB99110 = AT&T Nexus One
PB99100 = T-Mobile Nexus One
