3G on wifi model

Is there any way to get 3G (via a dongle) for the TF (I have USB ports on dock)?

Not a dongle but I've successfully tethered my Inspire to my transformer using the pdanet tablet app. No root needed

I just use portable wifi hotspot in my desire hd. It's easy n work very well

I use the blue tooth tether option on "wifi tether" app and it works brilliantly and doesn't hog much juice. If you use Wifi hotspot, I suggest you pick up autotether from the market to save much battery. It will turn your hotspot on and off seamlessly when you use 3G on your tablet.
