I've been using 3g watchdog pro to keep an eye on data usage. I know it comes with a warning that it's only able to estimate usage but the accuracy seems terrible - I've juts had a ext from O2 to say I've used 80% but the app says 15%. Most of that usage is Tunein radio, is there some reason watchdog is blind to it?

Some providers don't count with bits steps, mine counts with 100KB steps.
You can 3G Watchdog set to this steps.

But 15% to 80% is a big difference, would only be possible if your limit is very small.

I found it not at all accurate. It was always showing 2% and 3%. I deleted shortly after. If you ask your service provider, they should have a way to dial a short code and get a text telling you how much data you used. I am going to keep searching for an accurate alternative app.
