Help 3gp movie file format will not play on Laptop

Since we had the K1 tablet my husband has taken several movies with the tablet, and then we use the usb cable and hook it to our laptop which has window media player, real player, quick time, and transfer the movies he has taken to window explorer on the laptop. None of the movie players on the laptop can play the movies. They all say that it cannot play 3gp movie file format. And yes he has tried downloading codecs for them but come up cannot find them.

Does the K1 have a selection using the camera app to change the movie file format from 3gp lets say to mpeg, or wmv or something that windows media player can play?

And yes the movies he has taken all play great on the K1 tablet but not the laptop using windows XP

Please any help is appreicated.

You need a player that can play those. VLC player and Media Player Classic both should play those.

You can also use Freemake to convert those to another format for free.
