A new problem! I recently entered the 'software update' section on my Xperia Mini. It said that a new update was available - 4.0.2.A.0.42. The problem(s) being
1) my phone says I'm already running 4.0.2.A.0.42 (in build number). What is going on?
2) It says I need to download pc companion to update. However, I have a mac and there is no equivalent program for mac. The previous update I did was over the air so I don't understand why I suddenly need software.
3) I now have an irritating little icon on my status bar which I cannot get rid of (there is no "clear" option). It's a grey circle with jagged edges with a small mobile phone icon in the centre.
