It seems like it's mostly the people who have installed the rooted odexed version.

Yeah, I had added that to my post, but somehow it got deleted, I guess I'll have to edit it :D

That's why I like making my own deodex file. The last deodexed files released by TBH have been giving people issues, especially the easter egg one.

I'm gonna let you guys mess around with this leak and screw up your phones. When you guys figure out how to fix stuff, then I'll join you, saaaay tonight or tomorrow.

Until then, I'm enjoying .591 with Bouchingo mod goodness! :)

O'k I didn't boot loop and all my apps seem to be working just fine. Verified root and deodex. It does seem a little bit faster than the .591. I also had to reinstall busybox but that's no big deal.

I even ran quadrant and got a better stock score than with the .591(whatever that's worth). Even my keyboard seems faster with less lag if any in it. So all in all(so far)this .595 is working out well. Now if we could just get a little theme called BWC for this I will be a happy camper...cough.....cough....:)

EDIT: the baseband hasn't changed though.

The strange thing this time is that it's the odexed version that seems to be problematic.

What would be tgw best way to go to. 595 from Liberty 2.0.1 (the FroYo one)? Maderstock and flash or is SBF better for any reason?

Yeah I think I'm going to stick on .591 until the OTA comes and is official. Unless someone uncovers a significant enough change to warrant 'upgrading'

It might be a good idea for those that have their bloatware frozen to thaw everything out before flashing to the .595. Try that and see if you still boot loop.

I know I'm just guessing here but it's worth a try.

Alright, so I am coming from Apex 2.0... I was previously only on .588. How do I approach .595?

Also, is the 270 degree rotation available for this?

So everything is still running fine on this new .595 release. I'm still playing around with it and, on mine amyway, I had to apply the market fix flouting around for apps not showing up on the market. I also noticed my camera didnt default back to widescreen after closing. I flashed the full rooted and deodexed file so that may be playing a roll. I hope my updates are helping you guys out.

If you're on stock Froyo and rooted...with no bloat removed/frozen/renamed...you SHOULD receive the update like normal...

no problem...going to be adding this to my thread as well...

    1. General consensus is to SBF back to a bone stock Froyo install...
    2. root using z4root
    3. download the three part rooted .588 Gingerbread install the three parts
    4. install the .591 leak over .588 (this step may or may not be REQUIRED)
    5. install the .595 leak...seems that the deodexed version has the fewest problems...but if you want to receive the OTA you;re going to need to wait for the "stock build" to be fixed by P3...

Just SBF'd and I was bootlooping for a moment, but I just wiped data and cache and all was well in the world. Talk about unnecessary nerves! Now time rooting, and then Gingerbready goodness

    2 questions.

    1) Did they fix the issue with the hard key lights being insanely bright?

    2) Does the LED work again? (It only works for email notification for me in .588 and .591)

this isn't really an issue...its just the way they made it...

again, impossible for people to say because LED notifications worked fine for me on both .588 and .591....

Just got onto .595 from .588 without wiping anything. The new Blur Launcher's pretty slick, but I need an actual contact widget so it's back to LPP for me

    Rehash:
The deodexed version is rooted, correct?
And this will not be receiving the OTA if rooted, correct?
The ODEX version is giving people fits of anxiety, but would be eligible for OTA, correct?
If we SBF back to a version of FROYO, we can get the OTA, but does this include those who are rooted?
A full, stock SBF will be getting OTA, but is boring, correct?
Maderscok will work to get OTA, correct?

I know these are annoying questions and I posted this on purpose to clear up any questions members might have so we can figure out the issues concerning the bootloops some are experiencing.
PM me with any flammable comments, I have my firesuit on.

Actually you can. I rooted .573 with Gingerbreak and went right to .595

You don't get the baseband update of .588, but I'm hoping I get that when I go up to .596

You'd be wrong in saying it isn't an issue. It wasn't nearly as bright in froyo as it is with the gb. Leaks. That means it is an issue, and the question was valid. And the answer is... no, they are still insanely bright.

by your logic it is an "issue" that the notification bar is blue because it was white on Froyo...or the fact that Moto uses a light blue "scroll glow" instead of the orange in Vanilla Gingerbread...

the hard key lights are not an ISSUE...its something that Moto changed that you DON'T LIKE...there is a significant difference in the two...to be an issue it would have to be something Moto did not intend to be the way it is...the fact that we now have seen a handful of leaks now...and the brightness has remained the same...indicates that it was an intentional change...
