Is that something that's supposed to be already out, or not coming until Froyo?

Not until Froyo is what I keep hearing. This bigger question here is, where the heck is Froyo?

EDIT: I just noticed your profile says you own a Droid X. If you were referring to that device, it should already have the 720p video. The HTC Incredible won't have it until Android 2.2

Gotcha! I wasn't sure if I was supposed to have it already and was feeling a little left out. :D

I tried to install the froyo. My phone still says it's running 2.1, but now I have 720p, 3G Hotspot, and Amazon mp3. Weird huh? It's like now I have half and half.

720p isn't that good, WVGA with H.264 is better

It worked just fine. Which is what really mystified me. Of course I just went and did and upgrade with the leaked Froyo. But still it was weird. (I hear Twilight music...)

You thought it was Froyo but it was actually 2.1 update 1? That's what I'm assuming.

IDK, I think it's pretty sweet for a cell phone. Tell me what you think (be sure to click the arrow and click 720p while watching the video):
