Probably my favorite decade of music. So many bands, songs that influenced me growing up in Southern California. I was lucky to see many bands in my youth because of my location. To this day I am actively seeing bands that I missed during my early years (recently saw an X concert). Post your favorite song or band from the 80's.

My two favourite songs of all time

    Burning Inside by Ministry

Junkdrome by Front 242 - You need to get about 2m 20s in before it starts to kick off properly. Intro is long but quite ambient.

I have seen X so many times, I lost count. I try to see them whenever they play locally.

Does the OC stand for Orange County? If so, finally someone from my neck of the woods!! Sadly I do not have a copy of DWC :(

Just got 4 tickets to see "The Cult" @ House of Blues in Anaheim :) Ian is the man.

X was a big part of my record (yes, record) collection. Even if I lived on the East Coast.

oops, I posted in wrong thread.

Well for the '80s I was beginning to lose interest in rock, but did like
    The Police
    Dire Straits

    maybe a few more.
