A better email client for Xoom... please!

Hi,
I've bought a Xoom, that I am very much enjoying, but email client sucks for attachments.
It started by showing none... until I installed ES explorer... then it showed some (but not all) .doc files, but no images... so I installed a picture viewer and it showed an image... once... then wouldn't show it again and in fact corrupted the mail so that I had to delete it...

Currently, I am seeing less than a third of all attachments.

Surely there must be something better?

ps: This is for a pop account rather than gmail as it is my work email and, oddly, nobody is that enthused by moving all company comms to Google purely because I have bought a new toy...

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this "attachment" problem. Anyone found a fix?

I tried k9 yesterday, which gives attachments, but is designed for phone rather than tablet so interface isn't great. Sure there must be an alternative, but don't see why it should be needed - feels kinda unfinished to me.

Seriously, this entire email issue needs fixing. Anti-Apple fugitive from iPhone...but this might drive me back.
