A Better Text Editor

In a previous post I recommended OldSchool Editor. I later discovered that it does not strip all of the formatting you pick up when you copy text from another document.

My new recommendation is QuickEdit Text Editor. A copy from another document and a paste into QuickEdit transfers only the characters. The app also supports getting rid of (or adding!) blank lines with a Search for "\n\n" and a Replace All with "\n". You have to check "Regular expression" for this to work.

Sounds like what I used to do by copying rich or formatted text to notepad on a PC, then to my ultimate destination. Is that what you are talking about?
