lol, delayed? They never said they'd have it done first quarter, only first half of 2010, which includes the second quarter of 2010.

ROFL....originally they said 1st half. Now it's EARLIER early 2nd quarter. Why would you be mad, unless you wanted to wait longer.

It's not delayed since they originally said 1st half of 2010, now if they said it would be sometime in the 3rd quarter, yes that would be delayed. I'm glad that Sprint woke up and decided to start updating us on release dates instead of keeping us in the dark like they used to.

there is a difference between H1 and early Q2... the later means it's probably alot closer to the middle of H1 than the big open estimate of 6 months timespan that could be possible, man i bet you thought you were breaking some hearts here when you brought this news to the forums, just take some time to actually digest what you read, and what it means before you start spreading rumors.

all that was announced, was a more accurate time frame of when to expect the updates, this is a good thing as it means progress is being made.

How dare they promise a release by the end of June, then announce it might come sometime around May! :p

Now that it's kind off official through twitter? Can we expect to get it OTA? Or do you all think it will have to be done at sprint service center?

It sounds like that's what Sprint is trying to get straight with the manufacturers.

Q2 starts April 1 , so we can dream for earlier. I'm still betting on a store install starting June 30th @ 11:59. :p And by store I mean the repair center in Colorado Springs exclusively. Everyone else can wait a few months for the crack Samsung tech squad to pull their heads out of their nether regions and figure out what every other smartphone maker/platform figured out up to 10 years ago. I'm not talking OTA because I think these bozo's are decades away from understanding that concept, but how about a easily downloaded file that can be installed using their customers own computers? Asking too much? I was doing that with WM/Wince devices all the way back in the 90's. Maybe I'll go upgrade my wifes Pre to v1.4 now,~130mb OTA. The 4th such update since my wife bought her Pre a month BEFORE the Moment came out.
