Since I have the broken out rom with the blitzkrieg kernel i been playing around with call recording apps. Sanity, Call Recorder, and a couple others(forgot the names). I notice that all the ones I've tried activate the speaker phone first then while the call is going on I have to turn it off. I've checked the setting in all of them an nothing.... Not sure if anyone knows what im talking about but any ideas or even someone knowing about a better app would be appreciated it. I wanted to use sanity but it does the issue i speak of.

Thanks in advance.

There's an option to change that. It's pretty cool to keep it once you realize what's going on.

So, you get a call, pick up, and then you hear the speaker phone thinking "what the heck?" and then you click "speaker" on your phone twice to turn it off. How annoying!?!

Well, what's going on is that the app has a feature that turns the speakerphone on when it's not next to you ear. If you just hold it by your ear, it reverts back to the regular earpiece speaker. PRETTY DAMN COOL in my opinion.

Go to options and the options are under "handsfree" if you want to change it, but I kept it after I figured out what it does.

So basically, if you have to find a contact, or check something on your phone, hiding it from the cops when you're driving, or something else.. anything that requires you to take it away from your ear will turn the speaker phone on so you can always hear them.

Im guessing I cant change this in the free version right? Because I see something that says call recording will only work if handsfree is on.

Ok, I thought it was recording when the speakerphone wasn't on but I was wrong. The app can only record through speaker. Lame!

You can change the options of handsfree inn the free version. It's not under recording. It's on the first page of settings. You have to scroll down but since you don't like speakerphone, I guess you wouldn't care. Sorry.
