Just landed on the forum. Thanks to whoever set it up.
Been a Windows Mobile user since 2003 (went through Smartphone 2002 & 3, Pocket PC 2003, WM5, WM6, WM6.1) and decided to take the plunge and get an Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S II).
Love the thing so far; it's effing great.
Sorry to start with a question, but I have one. Is there a way to update to 2.4.4 via the phone's own menu system? I got the phone yesterday and thought I'd found an option to update. Today I can't remember where that option was and I've scoured the menus with a fine-toothed comb.
I know next to nothing about the phone so far but am experiened in updating my many HTC phones/pocket PCs with official and non-official roms (and a number of my own making) so if I have to go down the manual route of downloading a ROM and flashing it I will. I'm just keen to stick with easy and official options for now until I've read a bit more and really got to know the device.
