Root A faulty, rooted Hero...?

HI guys, with the excellent guides on here I rooted my Hero a couple of months ago, and have had fun trying out new roms etc.

Now however, it has developed a fault, in that it refuses to recognise any sd card at all. I have tried several different makes and sizes - all to no joy.

It is still under warranty, but it has Villian 5.5 rom on it at the mo. Before I return it to the shop, how can I get the original rom on there without any sd card access?

Any help/advice is much appreciated.

Just flash one of the stock roms using USB. Download the rom, plug in the unit, it doesn't have to sync, double click the RUU, and sit back and watch. Here is the list:
