Root A few questions

Here in the next few weeks, I'm going to be getting a new phone. I'm pretty much decided on the RAZR Maxx HD, but I have a few questions.

1. Anyone have a list of ROMs for this phone?

2. How is the build quality in day to day use. I've played with it in the store, but how does it hold up day to day. Is really as solid as people say?

3. How's the battery life for the really heavy users?

4. How long does it take to charge?

5. If there is anyone here who bought it in the last few days, did it come with ICS or JB? I'm planning on rooting so I want to know if I'll have to revert to ICS or not.

1. No compiled list but here's the two best pages I've found. Here and here. Only used Vitreous so far and really liked it though. Haven't tried any others.

2. Battery life is absolutely excellent. It is indeed as good as people say. I can easily get two or three days of use on medium usage.

3. For heavy usage, you can still nail one day of usage just fine. Yesterday I was unplugged for 16 hours, 2.5 hours of screen on time, and about 1GB of LTE data used. I was at 54% when I plugged it in. Maximum brightness all day too.

4. Charging from zero to full is about 3-4 hours I think. Haven't exactly timed it but it charges around that time on the included charger. USB charging is significantly longer due to the power supply differential.

5. Dunno if it comes with JB installed, but it is fastbootable back to ICS.
